We work closely with councils to ensure that a single person or family are matched correctly with a property, whether a room in a house, flat or house.
Once a booking has been confirmed we will liaise with the council and gain contact details for the new occupant(s) and arrange to meet them at the property. As a secondary and short term measure for access each of our properties have a key safe security box.
Our property managers carry out twice weekly inspections and daily if appropriate and are available Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. We also operate an emergency service for after normal working hours and weekends.
We deal with any minor nuisance issues and arrange for any maintenance or repair issue to be attended to.
We have a standard template for reporting to councils after each inspection, which again can be made bespoke to a particular councils requirements. We assist and report to local councils in whatever capacity is appropriate or required.
We attend the property when the council inform us that an occupier is due to vacate to collect keys and carry out a final inspection. Any damage, over and above what would be considered minor, is noted and photographed and sent to the council.
